Actually this feature is long overdue already, but I simply can't delay it any longer.
This feature is for the multi talented =Nilanja.
Besides wonderful conceptual photographs, drawings and even some artisan crafts she has revealed a new talent: writing.
And that's not all, she decided to combine it with her photography!!!
Now we are being treated to a photo and accompanying story. Both are great pieces on their own already, but together.....

Le Petit Journal #54




News, Book & FeaturesNews
Decided it was time to put out a final feature journal before my subscription runs out tomorrow.
My intention is not to renew it for the time being and for the immediate future to be spending less time here. It's entirely possible I won't be on the internet by the end of the month so I'm pre-empting this situation by winding down my internet activity.
On a brighter note I'm very busy putting together a book of Art Nude images – hopefully it will be available next month, initially via Amazon. More details soon…
At first, I saw this project as a step forward, but as it's progressed over recent months and the length of time since my last shoot approaches 8 months it has begun to take on the feel of a summing up – hope this isn't how things turn out, but if it is it will be a sort of closure and a small achievement I can be happy with :)

I suppose one of the most intriguing news stories the past few weeks has been the announcement by some Restaurants in the USA that they will be banning food Photography! Some claim that it's because of the flashes going off in restaurants and spoiling the mood for other customers. Others are angry that some professional photographers are making money or getting a name for themselves by sharing images of food that someone else has 'arranged.' And then there are the few that don't like the instagram snaps floating around that don't show their dishes in the best light. But what are your thoughts on the matter?
